Nia Collins Music

Welcome to the website for Soton Voce.  We are a small, dedicated and friendly community choir of all ages and abilities, who have passion for singing.  We are always on the lookout for new members (especially Tenors and Basses!) no auditions necessary.  There are no termly sign ups or fees required, just a suggested donation of £2 a session to contribute towards venue costs and music if you can afford it.

One of our most unique attributes is the variety of repertoire in differing languages and genres that we like to cover; Welsh folk songs, American rock classics, French renaissance madrigals, Sacred choral works, Zulu war songs and Ancient Norse musical theatre crossover pieces have all featured in our past performances!  In order to help us maintain this level of diversity we do often use music to rehearse but you don't need to be able to read music or have sung in a choir before (although music readers and previous choir members are most welcome and highly prized of course!) you just need to enjoy singing.
